Yamaha K-2000 Cassette Deck dbx Manual Pitch Control Works Well.
The finest deck Yamaha ever made in my opinion. Works perfectly as it should. Note the pitch control is not centered so you may want to switch it back if you purchase the unit. This comes in handy when friends make tapes and they’re off a bit.
Playback is accurate and a nice analog sound with a hint of warmth and not digital sounding like some decks are. Not overly warm either.
Unit is nearly 40 years old but in fine shape. Some fingerprints that should mostly wipe off and a reasonably rare blemish on the surface here and there. See photos for condition.
Unit works properly as is but since it’s an old unit the deck is being sold as is beyond it working when received. It has not recently been serviced so please keep that in mind.
Original manual included. No original box but it will be in a double box with modified foam spacers.
Unit will be insured and signature required at my discretion. I will pay for the service if I choose to do so. Otherwise shipping is paid by buyer. Plus tax in most states.
