You are bidding on a WWII early version of a US Army 2nd Infantry Division patch. The patch is vintage stock and is unused (not sewn).
The patch is fully embroidered with a cut edge and an olive drab (OD) border, the reverse side has a greenback. Prior to the outbreak of WWII, the 2nd Division was stationed at Fort Sam Houston and

During the war the division served in the European Theater of War and fought in the
