WWII U.S. ARMY OFFICERS BAKITE SWAGGER STICK/POINTER

Description

This was obtained from an antique dealer who was a WWII veteran who I had the pleasure of knowing.  This is an officers Bakelite swagger stick.  It has a beautiful shine and parts of it looks marbleized in tones of brown and beige.  It is in excellent condition.  However, on one side of the square handle you can feel that something may have been glued there such as an emblem or initial.  You can barely see the mark and hardly feel it.  Please look at my photos.  This is 24" long.  The point raises up a little and you notice it swirls up for about 8" from the bottom.  This is a beautiful unique piece of memorabilia made of bakelite an extremely hard plastic which started to be used in the 1920's.
