    Description

Vintage metal fire chief car toy made in Japan in the 1950s.  It is in very good overall condition for its age.  The
original vivid deep red paint is in excellent condition with only a few light scratches present.  Ornate graphics on the front hood of the car include an F.D. shield, lights and siren.  A firefighter in the back seat is gesticulating with his hand while conversing with the other firefighter in the back.  The rear license plate reads NO.753.  Thin rubber coated wheels in the rear are connected to a strong friction motor.  Front metal wheels are wider.  A piece of the metal chassis that holds the axle of the front wheel on the passenger side is broken and the wheel goes up inside the body if you try to push the car forward; which causes it to only travel a couple feet.  You can get the wheel to stay in place for display purposes, and it does display nicely.  Toy measures  6.5” long and 3.25” wide.  Please see photos for detail of condition.
