Description
Pleased to offer a rare and unique advertising golf figure from the 1940s.The golfer is made of a solid metal alloy in a pewter color and equally 3-D on both sides.
Condition is very good considering his age. He may have had a coat of paint on him
originally, but it is not easy to be sure, although there are a few tiny spots of goldish in
some of the crevices. The metal surface also has some variation to the color.
Interesting to note that he has a front and a back realistic to a real person.
He stands 11" tall not including his gold club and weighs 14.2 oz.
The figure stands on a "grass filled" bar that has 2 holes that served to attach him to
his original location.
I can find nothing that ties him to a specific brand, but can only guess that it must have
been to advertise a place or a brand of something.
At any rate, he is very charming and should be brought back to life again.
