    Description

    Very RARE early chain ladder fire escape from Consolidated Firescap Corp of Ft. Worth Texas, a company that is no longer in business. This is a 14' chain ladder that fits in the red metal box as shown. It was designed I believe to attach to window ledge or wall just inside window so the ladder could be thrown out the window, it was designed for escape from 2nd story windows. The box is metal with handle and old distressed red paint. Hardware to mount the box is included as you can see. Found it exactly as shown in pics with wire holding the box together.
