Onkyo TA-R22 2-Head Auto Reverse Cassette Deck Fully Functional
I've had this deck set up in my system for about 6 weeks and have given it a good workout to see if any problems show up and none have, it is working perfectly
Features of this deck are:
2 Head
Auto reverse which allows playback and record in both directions
Dolby B and C
Auto tape type detection
Auto music control system(AMCS)
Blank skip
Condition: Tape heads and pinch rollers look good and have been cleaned. The main drive belt looks good and the deck plays perfectly without noticeable wow and flutter. The counter belt is there and the counter is working. I don't believe this deck has a lot of hours on it
There are a few small nicks on the top edge of the faceplate as well as minor imperfections on the top of the deck. Also there is some dust behind the glass panel on the front that I was not able to access for cleaning, these are shown in the pics
Sound quality: This deck sounds surprisingly good, I've played many different tapes both prerecorded as well as tapes I've made on other decks and they always sound great. I've also made recordings on all 3 tape types and the results are the same, very good sound in either direction of play. I would put this deck in the category of a "sleeper" with a very high performance to cost ratio
As with everything I sell this will be very well packed in a properly sized box to ensure it arrives undamaged
