Axe Holder for American LaFrance Fire Truck Engine 1940's Era Aluminum Perfect

Description

This auction is for the aluminum axe head bracket (or holder) and NOT the axe handle bracket, which is being "thrown in" with this auction in the hopes that someone can make use of it.  The aluminum holder is in absolutely perfect original condition with no damage or repairs.  Yes... it is dirty, but it will clean up to a fine polish if you do the work.  These are hard to find these days.  It came from an American LaFrance pumper.  FYI: the handle bracket is of iron and is a bit rusty but that rust appears to be only on the surface and it should wire wheel brush very nicely to a clean finish.  The spring may require replacing.
