Antique W & R Stoke on Trent Footed Vase-Chrysanthemum Blush Ware-1890-1894-Nice
This is a beautiful Wiltshaw & Robinson Stoke on Trent footed vase in the Chrysanthemum pattern. It's in wonderful condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. There is overall light crazing, a small light glaze smudge off the tip of one bud and some tiny to pin point sized specks of wear on the gold rim. Pretty Burgundy and purple Chrysanthemum flowers and buds are on both the front and the back of the vase,with the ones on the front being larger. The marks on the bottom of this vase date it from 1890-1894. The pattern was registered in 1882 and the British registration number is 187328. It is hand coded 406R in red. Measures approx: 6" wide and 9 3/8" tall. The Swallow mark on the bottom shows some light wear from age and display. Very nice, very clean antique vase!
