Description

This is a beautiful piece of glass from the center cockpit panel windscreen of the Navy A-7 Corsair II carrier based jet fighter. The A-7 was a subsonic light attack aircraft designed and built by Ling-Temco Vought . the A-7 was developed in the early 1960's as the replacement
for the A-4 Skyhawk.  The A-7 was used to attack Mig bases in North Vietnam  and close air support and bombing missions in the Vietnam war with the lowest rate of loss of any aircraft in the Vietnam war. This cockpit window class has been in storage since the 80's and is
39 1/2 inches long 12 inches wide at widest part , and 1 1/2 inches thick. It weighs 50 pounds. Could be used as small display shelf or coffee table idea with a nice display model of the A-7. I did not have a nice display model just this small plastic model pictured . The models
ash tray and ice block are not included in this auction. I will ship UPS in its original packing box.
