The antique engraved bookplate shows the crest of John Grant Marchmont Herald. The Marchmont Herald of Arms is a Scottish Herald of Arms. Grant served 1884-1885. The bookplate measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 3 5/8 inches high. Ink notation at the bottom, otherwise, very good condition.
