1908 ARLINGTON COUNTRY CLUB Columbus OH GOLF BALL Badge Stamping Die * MC LilleyFrom the archives of MC Lilley, this listing is for an antique stamping die that was used to make a badge or emblem for the Arlington Country Club in Columbus, Ohio. The Serial Number (#1408) dates to 1908. The Arlington Country Club started as a horse riding club in the Grandview Heights area of Columbus and Golf became popular there in 1905. The design includes crossed golf clubs and a large golf ball in the center. The base dimensions are 2 ⅜” square, the top dimensions are 1 ⅞” square, and it stands 2 ⅝” high.
