    Description

    An ornate armorial book plate engraved and signed by E.D. French in 1904 for Harvard University that was made specifically for use in books in the Hohenzollern Collection in the Harvard College Library. This bookplate was once in a book in that collection numbered 1853 that was later discarded and the book-plate salvaged. It does not say which book that was. Approximately 6 3/8 by 3 7/8 inches.
